The Black Opal cosmetics brand was formed in 1994 by three people with a shared passion for beauty cosmetics.

They recognised the difference between skincare requirements for caucasian women and women of colour and together they combined their knowledge and expertise to develop an affordable range of skincare products to meet the specific needs of
men and women of colour.
